obscurification

I think it's probably agreed that a large room (8-10m) ends up with an 'optimal' f/# in the 2000-3000 area.

Optimal is not needed for a huge wall image and the dark-acclimation time could be frustrating.

What I was hoping to learn (might as well broaden the question to others who have built cameras obscura(s))....was what are typical aperture -to -wall and aperture data used.

From this we can figure out a range of geometries that people find 'functional' without 'over-engineering' and questing for dimensions closer to optimal.

Thanks to the person who reminded me about the spitbite.org (that still sounds nasty) info page. I was being facetious (as usual) about 'how did I do that?' - I did a lot of goofier-than-normal things the last week - getting over the flu or whatever it was.

  Thanks all.

  Murray
