Not at all, Murray!
Perhaps your question was specifically addressed to me but it has a broad
interest for the list:
Murray asked:

I don't know of any such easy rule-of-thumb but I'd like to hear if others
have any ideas on the subject.
With the several pinhole calculators available on the web, it should be
relatively easy to check the concept.
Of course, when it comes to exposure, I keep using the famous "Sunny-16"
rule-of-thumb.
Best to all,
Guy
