For me, pinhole and toy cameras are very, very different. Toy cameras
are just like regular cameras only "less". Less sharpness, less
contrast, less aberration control. I find pinhole to be a case of
"more". There are pictures that I think can only be created with
pinhole - there was about a year when I fought against that and tried to
get the same feeling in images using lenses, and I gave up.

Perhaps I haven't enough vision or experimentation to really understand
toy cameras. Or perhaps it is because the Holga I bought is
uncharacteristically light tight.

The toy camera world has been creating some very interesting "mutants"
recently, and I'm not just talking about that mainstay of wedding
photographers, the LensBaby. The Holga lens can be had in Nikon mount,
so that you can be digitally Krappy.
