If you have a router (or know someone who does woodworking), it's
possible to make circular caps to fit the tubes, out of plywood.
YOu need the router, and a circle cutting jig. I like to put a
rabbet around the edge, which fits into the tube.

I've made a couple of half-cylinder cameras with these materials.
