I've not printed gum, but have done a god bit of cyanotype and Van Dyke, the
latter have sometimes been confused with platinum/paladium. Buying through
Photographer's Formulary is certainly a possibility, but will also be the most
expensive way to go. If you are serious with doing this then I would recommend
purchasing an inexpensive scale and weighing out your own chemicals. The scale
will pay for itself after a couple of purchases ($20 for two dozen 8X10"
cyanotypes is way out of whack, as far as I'm concerned).
