I use black heavyweight mat board, available at any
framer or art supply store. It cuts with an X-acto
type knife and comes in sheets up to 96 inches long. I
just tape the edges together with black photographer's
masking tape. It's flat, so doesn't cause problems
inside the box and it holds just fine.
