Re: Where are all the pinholer's?

Tried to send this a couple of days ago but then realized I was sending from
the wrong address and it bounced - I wanted to chime in on this topic as
well:

As a lurker, I want to unmask and chime in:

I am on this list and on f295. Each has it's place. This list allows for
free flowing email conversation that I find quite natural and easy to
browse, scan and let run by and then archive in my email folders for later.
It's low stress and low effort to jump in occassionally or not as well as
see posts about new work being shown or new websites or classes.

f295 is very tuned to having conversations AROUND images. There are also
topic discussions but it is a much more structured way of having a
conversation - and as others have mentioned, it must be part of a routine
because you have to GO there. It is valuable for the sharing of ongoing work
in an informal way - which is what I like about it.

I think both are valuable and I would hate to have this list go away because
folks feel like f295 subsuming it. It's just different and has its place in
the suite of offerings.
