I want to throw my hat in with Scott & Tom.
I've learned far too much about to many things here to want to see this list
vanish into the ether.

It is good to see discussion on the list again. I must be an old fart,
since I like this format a lot. It forces one to use the mind to visualize
based on written descriptions and then to prepare an answer that might be
comprehensible to others.

Each site that caters to pinhole photographers has its plusses and minuses
and, in a sense, culture. I check into f295 quite a bit, at least daily;
also Pinhole Visions at pinhole.com; also APUG once in a while; and Pinhole
Resource and even Flickr, although to be honest, I find Flickr way
frustrating and I wander way off track far too quickly and usually don't
stay more than a couple of minutes. And, naturally, WPPD gets my attention
as well.

I'm supportive of the pinhole discussion list continuing. It has a long and
venerable history, starting with its founding by, I believe, James Kellar
(in, I think, 1996 or 1997?). Scott, if you take over the admin, I'd be
appreciative and know many others would be, too. If it doesn't happen, we
all need to realize that things change, we all do our best and we'll
communicate and swap ideas and images in new and various places. Eric,
thanks for keeping this going as long as you have and offering to keep the
archive online.

I'll be away from the internet until early September. It will be
interesting to see where the list is at then.
