Edward Levinson's Photo Book Wins Award

the book categories after being entered in the contest "Prix de la
Photographie Paris". The winning entry will be published in the high-

EDWARD LEVINSON OF JAPAN WAS AWARDED FIRST PRIZE IN PX3 COMPETITION.

PARIS, FRANCE, 30-APR-2007,
PRIX DE LA PHOTOGRAPHIE PARIS (PX3) ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF THE 2007
COMPETITION.
Edward Levinson of Japan was Awarded: First Prize in the category
[BOOK-Other] (Cover + 4 Inside Images) for the entry titled, "
Timescapes Japan." The jury selected 2007’s winners from over 8,000
photography entries from 84 countries.

Book Entry categories consisted of Fine Art, Nature, Portraits,
Documentary, and Other. Levinson's work consists of all these genre
and thus was entered in the category "Other" where he won First

About the Winner: Edward Levinson is an American photographer
specializing in pinhole photography. He has lived in Japan since
1979. His work is regularly exhibited in Japan, the U.S.A., and
Europe. His unique view of Japan can be seen in his recent book
“Timescapes Japan – A Pinhole Journey” and on his website.
