Read through the populist info, it addresses your rewinding question.
It's more readily reliable than 120 film pinhole cameras, where keeping
the film tensioned properly is an art unto itself.

I built a 120 populist, too, although I find I haven't taken it out to
shoot yet. It's just that little bit bigger, and when I go out I can
slip the 35mm into a cargo pant pocket or a jacket pocket. Or a suit
coat pocket, I've started working on a series of office images. The 120
populist is a bit less spontaneous because it's more than a bit bigger.
