The sale of the first OLED light meter went well and had about 12
watchers before the buy-it-now option was invoked. This has enabled and
motivated me to finish off 4 more light meters, 2 are LCD based 2 are
OLED. I'm afraid that's all that there is from this batch of PCB's and
displays though if all 4 sell well I will probably get round to
producing a few more later in the year.

I have also set up a web site for the meters here.

As a special offer to f295 members I'm offering the two LCD meters for
US $ 209 each with 3% of the sale price going to f295. This offer is
open on a first come first served basis till they or sold or I get round
to putting them on eBay which will be at US $ 134 start and 268
buy-it-now. The LCD's are currently US $10 cheaper than OLEDs

I will also entertain partial swaps for a Daylab 4x5 camera, 4x5 film
holders, Hasselblad or Kiev A12 backs or a Hasselblad back plate part.

The shutter drivers appear to be having a small niche commercial life of
their own separate to the light meters in the world of lens photography.
Other parts and prices can be found at the bottom of

Personally I'm now using the meters shutter driver combination all the
time and getting quite reliant on automated simplicity. I had an issue
with the hand built BNC connecting cables so I went over to using 1m
long pre-made ones. This has proved both more reliable and easier to use
as the ones I made linking the light meter / timer and shutter driver
which were, by design, quite short. Guess that's just the kind of lesson
you only learn through use.

A picture of one of the LCD units can be seen here:

All the best

John
