Still have my skills

hi all,

just to inform, that I found finally my 4x5 film holders. Just took 6
photos using polymax rc paper negatives and they turned out quite well.
Don't know about the composition, but this showed to me that I can still
do some pinholin'. Mostly I've done polaroid pinholes with the
polaroid-kit. Even last summer shoot few photos. But the polaroid film
is 20 euros a pop, which makes 2 euros a photo. Too expensive and you'll
never know when the only place, which uses still polaroid for passport
photos moves to digital and then that source dries out.

But taking today pinhole photos was bit of an ordeal. It's one degree
centigrade with heavy wind. When I left home, the sun was shining and I
calculated that with paper negatives it won't take too long to expose.
But of course some clouds came and waiting 15 mins to expose one photo
in that wind wasn't really nice. Wish I should have re-heated this
pinholing in the summer :-) But as I think that for good photos there
must be equal amount of suffering when taking the photos, maybe my
photos don't look too bad. Don't know yet, they are drying at the moment.
