Good ideas George.

The only problem I would foresee with an IR filter less sensor is one of
calibration. Currently I calibrate the meter against a Gossen Starlite,
but hope, costs permitting to get it properly calibrated.

I do like the idea of allowing people to self source certain parts
though. 1.5 inch IR filters of the kind I use are very often used with
amature and professional astronomy

I think I have found someone for the first stage of testing. But I will
keep you in mind for any subsequent testing.
