Off Topic - Be On My Podcast

Hi folks, this is indeed off topic, but should be fun.

Since everyone here shoots pinhole, this means that you've got a different
slant on things (I'm just starting to use the pinhole seive, now that's
different). I am counting on this for a new podcast I am getting ready to
start (in case you don't know, a podcast is a downloadable radio show one can
listen to whenever they wish on their computer or mp3 player).

The podcast will be called One Minute How To. The way I look at it, we all
know how to do something well, so can you describe it in 60 seconds? I'm not
talking about something major like how to buy a digital camera, but something
small. For instance, I am going to do the first show myself on how to prepare
a Guiness for consumption. My son is going to do one on how to file for
information via the Freedom of Information Act.

What I would do would be to call you on the phone (or use Skype, if you have
that on your computer), introduce you and what you will be explaining, and then
the floor is yours for 60 seconds. After that you can have another 30 seconds
for a shout out, or perhaps tell about your website, or really whatever you
wish.

That's it. When the show goes live, anyone with a computer will be able to
download it and listen to it at their leasure. I'll have a section for
comments, so you can go there and add things that you may not have had time to
include in your one minute.

So does this sound like fun? Challenging, but fun. This is open to absolutely
everyone, everywhere, as long as I am able to contact them. Even though I am
in the U.S. I am fine with calling anywhere in the world, so please everyone
think about doing this.

So how do you sign up to do this? Just send an email to me at
OneMinuteHowTo@Gmail.com telling me what you'd like to explain, and we'll
arrange a time for me to call you. It'll only take a couple of minutes out of
your day, but I think that we'll both get a kick out of it.
