This showed up in the Make magazine blog <http://makezine.com/blog/> a
while ago. Their blog often has cool camera projects. For example
right now Steven Tafts' anamorphic pinhole camera is their top entry
(it will be different by the time you read this). but Be careful,
following all the links at the Make blog to all the cool projects is
an incredible time sink. :)
When posting URLs, putting angle brackets (i. e., "<" and ">") around
the URL will prevent most mail clients from mangling the URL.
Besides tinyurl, Make A Shorter Link
<http://www.makeashorterlink.com/> is a nice service. Make A Shorter
Link gives you a slight pause before redirecting you to the final
site. This allows you to see if you really want to go there. That's
probably not a problem on this list, but with URLs from some sources
it's nice to be able to abort when you realize that you want to avoid
a site.
