Mike, Ivy, Tom - thanks a lot for your kind words on my pics!
Tom: the flare is just one of those happy accidents. Yes, I quite often point the camera partly towards the sun - like I did this day. The effect is - as you know - impossible to predcit, so I need having alternatives, often with the object shading the sun somehow.
That picture, as well as the other stone-pic, is taken at a height in Southern Sweden (the region is called Skane, for those of you who know Sweden...). The stones are some kind of ancient remains, placed upon a hill by the water... a rather dramatic sight, where it is easy to get inspiration to start pinholin'...
Ivy: I'm really pleased you enjoyed the essence of my work. As far as exhibiton is concerned, I have only taken part in some group exhibitions, but I'm for sure most eager to put together a collection of these b/w pics (which I have never shown in an exhibition). And after that go hunting a gallery-owner who ilikes my pics as much as you do ;-)
Book? Well perhaps, I have tried the Lulu-system (www.lulu.com) for another set of pics. Could be...
As for the Xmas card exchange, I'd be glad extending my swapping by sending you a pic as well. Just me send me your snail-mailaddress!
Once again, thanks all.
And a happy new year!
/peter
