A couple of years back i made some largish pinhole negatives (20 x 40
inches) in the field/on location - devised a system, constructed a mega,
portable, pinhole camera prototype (which can be transported in the back of
my old van).
First consider the issues of (a) what photosensitive materials one intends
to use and (b) the logistics of large scale processing and/or printing. In
other words the cost & availability of materials, the practical
considerations of how to process large sheets/rolls of photopaper or film
and size/weight/portability will probably determine the dimensions of your
pinhole camera.
