Advice is coming in "installments", here is another installment :-)

- If you use B&W paper, you may want to consider it has an speed of ISO-6
- Your camera has an aperture of f/218 ( 83 / 0.38 = 218 ) which is just
about f/180 +0.5 stops, but for all intents and purposes of pinhole, you can
consider it to be f/256
- If shooting under sunny skies, a suggested exposure time in seconds would
be 256 divided by the speed of the photographic material you are using. For
example, if using B&W paper with a suggest speed of ISO-6, the suggested
exposure time would be 256 / 6 = 42 seconds. Another example, if you wee to
use Polaroid 55 (suggested in another reply) and you were to shoot for
prints (ISO-64), the exposure time under sunny skies could be 256 / 64 = 4
seconds
