Which kit?

How about two out of three? Polaroid Type 55 Positive/Negative film
is very nice, and is processed just like all the other Polaroid peel
apart films. It can make negatives, or prints, but not both from the
same packet. It also has the advantage (like Kodak Readyload and Fuji
Quickload) of being able to be loaded in daylight so you can bring one
holder and a box of film into the field and shoot as much as you want.
You can also use either of the Readyloads or Quickloads with the
Polaroid holder (although I have better luck with the Readyloads in a
Readyload holder) and have those films processed normally.
It wouldn't be cheap. You'd need one of the 545 series Polaroid
holders (545 (used), 545i ($175), 545Pro ($200)), and a box of 20
packets goes for $70.
You could balance that expense out against the cost of building a
darkroom, and the equipment, chemistry and time needed to do normal
processing.
