Hi All,
Happy Holidays and all that good stuff!
As for containers for pinhole cameras, my vote for the best way to go is
CIGAR BOXES!!!! Don't get me wrong here, I too like tins of all shapes
and sizes too, but wooden cigar boxes look like old time cameras to start
with. Go to a tobacco shop that sells good cigars and ask for the empty
WOODEN cigar boxes that usually get tossed out in the trash!!! Some
places might charge you a few dollars for a box, but they are definitely
worth it! They are the best thing going in my opinion. You can find all
different sizes, widths and lengths. I've found some that the only thing
needed was to spray painted flat black inside, drill a hole, and then
mount the pinhole and add paper and GO shot some pinhole. Some of the
boxes look so good, they almost look like store bought pinhole cameras. I
got a closet full of the things and just never get around to finishing
them. As it is I have too many pinhole cameras already, but that's not
going to stop me from exploring some of the "cool ones" that come out
like "The Blender". That's my "wooden nickel" worth of info.
"Keep on Pinholin'",
Tom Lindsay
Remember if it holds out light it's a candidate for a pinhole camera!
