You knew that could be the case I am pretty sure, if you shoot B&W negative
emulsions, that is. Many times the negative image looks quite good but a
positive looks quite mundane. What appears to be a very dark dramatic sky,
will turn into a featureless washed out sky, as in the case of the second
link image.
