I think the 1A Autographic takes 116 Autographic film. In addition
to fixing the bellows, you might have to do some shimming on the
spools and add some kind of frame in front of the film plane to block
it down to 6x6 or 6x9. Plus you'll have to seal up the Autograph
door.
I find that the best thing about these cameras is the shutter
assembly. It has a threaded disc on the back side which comes off
without too much trouble. The lenses usually unscrew leaving you with
a large area to attach a pinhole. I usually disassemble the shutter
by unscrewing the two or four screws on the front and carefully
lifting off the front. Then I stop the aperature down all the way,
glue a pinhole to the blades opposite the side with the shutter,
remove the aperature adjustment level/ring and reassemble.
