Bellows Question

I was lucky enough to come into a large collection of cameras. One is a #1 A
Autographic Kodak Jr. which I am thinking about converting to pinhole. It is
in pretty rough shape and didn't think it was Ebay material. My question is
the black coating on the outside of the paper bellows was dried and fell off
or I could scape it off the bellows. Any suggestions for material or paint
that I can re-coat it to make it light tight again?
