Best I can recall on the 6x4.5 masked camera (with a
generous 6x4.5 window) there were 9 turns to reach the
arrow on Kodak VC400 paper and 11 turns to center the
first exposure, then the 1-2 spacing took 1.3 or so
turns. It gradually decreased (should be 1/linear
because length is just pi x core diameter) to about
0.7 turns.
