Re: Zero 2000 with 220er Film - experience?

I believe the 220 film emulsion is identical to 120 film emulsion
which is roughly identical (in thickness) to any other film, so maybe
if you have a scrap of exposed or developed film you could substitute
that in place of paper in my earlier suggestion.

Also, according to the Wikipedia article on 120/220 film, 220 film is
144cm long:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/120_film

The article also lists other film dimensions which may be of help to you.

Strictly speaking, if film spools have an inner core that's a
consistent size, it should be possible to determine how many degrees
to turn the knob on any camera and have it advance one frame. You
could mark degrees around the knob and turn it N degrees per frame.
The downside is that I have enough problems remembering if I've wound
the camera between frames when there are only 12 numbers to worry
about. 360 numbers seems like a much larger headache.
