An "F" for comma splice errors???

Jacqueline Tunberg, Dean of English Dept. San Diego State used to tell her
students to write as you might speak. Leave out all punctuation. ALL
punctuation.

Pejorative phrase, as in novels, expressive and personal emphasis.
