Rondinax query

Has anyone any experience of using the Agfa Rondinax daylight developing
tankss? The instructions I have suggest you add the developr first
(sufficient to cover half of the spiral) then wind the film onto the
spiral and continually turn the spiral. It would seem that this could
lead to uneven development or a wrecked film if anything goes wrong.
However I believe they sold quite a number of these for many years so I
guess it should work. If you have used one of these Either 120 or 35mm
can you let me know your thoughts.
