Avant guard could be interpreted as "dark". I was thinking more like "deep". Actually, I don't know how the inside of a camera obscura can be anything other than dark. As someone who has been inside this particular CO, I can say it would be nice to show an image that is more - enlightening(?). But, don't lose the clip of the bouncing pinhole. That is really fun.

Does that mean, like, dark? I'm going to get better pictures inside the
camera obscura before I take it down. The translucent screen works the best
in-person, but didn't work at all with the digital movie camera. I figure
I'll put some shots of it on film. It's been fun! -MM
