I've done stereo photos with 4x5 negatives with "focal" lengths as
short as 65 millimeters (two and a half inches) with pinholes of .5 mm
diameter, easily drilled with a #10 quilting needle. As a matter of
fact, all my images are done with .5mm pinholes.
