I have shot infrared pinhole for a while (a few 4X5 images can be found at
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/hmpi/Pinhole/Images/PinholeImages.htm).
Reciprocity rules are no different with infrared than they are with "regular"
B&W film. You will want to do a series of tests before counting on your
results, as is always the case.
If you use Konica 120 then you will want to use a #25 filter (a #29 filter is
also possible, but I have not seen any difference when testing and you lost
speed). I would not recommend using an 87 or 89 filter as Konica's emulsion is
not sensitized far enough into the infrared to obtain acceptable results.
Ilford's film is not an infrared film, but an extended red film (higher
sensitivity in the red area, but is not sensitized to capture radiation into
the infrared region). I have not tried the Macophot film yet, but hope to do
so later this Spring (I will probably try their 4X5 film if B&H ever gets any
in stock).
You can find a fair amount of information about infrared photography at
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/hmpi/Infrared/Articles/IRArticles.htm.
