Hi Tom,
I believe you involve in pinhole photography for a rather long time and
you already know about Dirkon and I know about Dirkon for a long time.
We should said that the camera from Lomo looks urprisingly like the
Dirkon. The story is a bit shame but I think I have to let more people
about it because I really shame of those who copy others design
(especially the guy from England who copy my camera directly!)

Well, the maker (it a shame to call him designer although he said that
he is a designer) of this paper camera is called Mark, a young guy from
Hong Kong, a few years ago he use Dirkon's die cut drawing (I believe
he didn't get any authorization from Dirkon), manufacture it by print it
out with some new graphic design and sell it in some flea market
organized by a local magazine, he re-name the camera as "Hole on"
camera. It is becasue such item is new in Hong Kong and people here
don't have too much attention to pinhole photography. This item seems a
trendy item here and a lot of magazine talking about this camera.
Unluckly this guy lie to the public that the camera is designed by him.
Many magazine blow that this is a local design and promote it! I really
feel shame of it. After one or two years of the WPPD, more and more
people in Hong Kong knowing more about pinhole photography and knowing
about the origianl design of the Dirkon camera. So he have to make some
desgin change to the camera.

This camera appeared in the same magazine last year and they claim that
this is the second generation of Mark's deisgn!
Through a tiny pinhole we can see a lot of funny things. This world is
funny!
