Here is a link to the Dirkon camera page on David Balihar's site.
The camera looks surprisingly (or maybe not, on reflection) like the
Lomographics paper pinhole.

There are downloadable plans on this page.
A local photgraphy professor (Peter Martin, Univ. of Minnesota) has
his beginning photo students make and use a pinhole camera from the
Dirkon plans. He uses a special paper (and I can't remember the name
it) that is black, opaque and available a local art stores. He told
me that one big reason for using the Dirkon is that half of the
students who begin the class don't own a 35mm SLR and the Dirkon gets
them started with an inexpensive, usable camera.
Makes 'em think and learn, too, I'll bet.
