Slit Camera

I have been researching across the web to understand how to build or
if there are places to buy a slit camera. I have been mesmerized by
the images in the "American Landscape" book by Michael Wesely (can be
bought from Pinhole resource).

My question for the group is: Is there a best way to build a slit
camera? Can I do it with 4x5 or only roll folm like 120 or 35mm. Is
there a place to buy a pre-made slit camera?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
