I actually use a rather ancien Agfa DuoScan T1200 to scan my 120, 4x5 and
8x10 negatives. It came with a fairly good software when it was still being
manufactured some 5-6 years ago.

Of course, the resolution is far short of the Epson 4990. But, considering
the size of the negatives being scanned, it delivers some pretty good
digital files. For my 35mm negatives, I use a Nikon scanner.
