Thanks Chris: Your image is an inspiration! THAT'S what I'm looking for!
Looks like the general consensus (so far) is new software. I'm taking a
negative or two up to the lab today. They've got a bigger scanner and maybe
it won't be so tough to stitch fewer scans together. Thanks to all who've
replied to my questions! -Marcy
PS: I might consider stopping by the grass store on the way...
