If you just follow the link at the end of each email, you'll see a
"search all of the archives" link at the very bottom of that page.
That's the most direct entry point.

"By Author"), you can click on "Nearby: [About this archive]", and
that'll take you back to the main list page.
It would be good to have a search link from every message, and at some
point I'll redo the page configuration and regenerate the archives so
that something like that is in place.

I think it's good that these questions arise from time to time.
Thinking changes, materials change, interests change, subscribers
come and go, the answers are not always the same. And without
answers, and questions, and reframed questions, and topic drift,
there'd be nothing in the archives to search.
