Absolutely. I give people the same reason, almost word for word.
I have given in to digital to the extent that I will print a good image on conventional paper in my darkroom, then scan it, invert it, and "colorize" it (see Dan Burkholder's book) and print it on an Epson 1280 on Pictorico transparency material. Works like a champ. I tried printing on a laser printer, but it was a bit too granular for my taste. Colorizing it smooths out the granularity.
Photocopiers tend not to do such a good job on grayscales. Scanning and even printing on a laser printer would probably be better.
