Re: Why?

I don't have any clue James, but here in Belgium,
I've been really busy promoting the event last
year for the French speeking part of the country
(as Taco did for the Dutch part). I sent dozens
of e-mails to schools, photoclubs, academy,
medias and so on. I even committed myself in a
local tv show, had an article in a newspaper and
an interview in the radio, offered several
cameras to my friends photographers and family...
And finally there was only one new participant in
the gallery in comparison with the prior
editions... My mother...
Why?
Were we born too late in a too old world? (Just kidding)
I think if the wppd's site statistics increased
with visitors from Kentucky, Michigan, ...or
Belgium then it's encouraging for the next
editions.
I hope they'll all wake up in 2005.
A very great holiday season anyone.
