The undersized cards more easily jam the automatic address coders &
readers.. 8o)

USPS also complains about undersized and certain
aspect ratios too.

A counter clerk should be able to show you and
possibly provide you with a template that graphically illustrates the
pass/fail criteria for different postal rates.
