Thanks for the answer. Another thing that I am going to test is the possibility that colors other than black may be more effective in the making of a digital negative.

I am using the standard dye based inkset that comes with the C400UX printer<br>I use, always printing in colour and using the setting for "gloss photo<br>paper".
