My understanding is:
Pre-exposure will decrease the treshold of silver grains; that way they
are more easily triggered in exposure so they're able to form an image
later in the development stage. Post-exposure will only intensify
already triggered grains, will not affect the non-triggered grains
(because the treshold was high at the time of real exposure). Therefore,
results of pre or post flashing should be different.
What do you think?
