The digest is a different way of getting the same messages. Rather than
getting them one by one as they are sent, all the messages from one day
are sent out as one big message at the end of the day, with an index.

Many Internet mailing lists offer this option. I do not find it as
satisfying as getting the messages individually, but I think it is a good
way for some people to organize and gain better control over their email.
I think we have about as many digest subscribers as we have subscribers
to the regular list.

If you like the list the way it is, I would recommend that you change
nothing!
