Hello all!
I'm evaluating a couple of pinhole cameras for the site I run
(http://www.alternativephotography.com) and need some benchmarks to
evaluate against...
Love the alternativephotography site, by the way. Compliments this site very well, they
go hand in hand. DW
quick answers to these questions:

About pinhole cameras (bought or homemade) you've used:
- -Which are the best 'features' or functions of pinhole cameras?
Simplicity, far and away. Gives me a connection with the instrument as it were, that I
enjoy. The fact that nothing stands between the object to be photgraphed and the film
plane, just the ether and my imagination.
- -Which are pinhole cameras lacking most (features or functions)?
Lenses. And pretentions.

About the images that comes out of pinhole cameras:
- -What is the appeal of pinhole images?
The quality, the fact that there exists a need for just a little more of a thought
process to take an image. To paraphrase: A picture from a lensed camera is a
reproduction, a picture from a pinhole camera is more of an interpretation.
- -What don't you like about pinhole images?
Very little, I can adjust to the lack of a shutter or work with what I have at hand; but
then again, isn't that part of the appeal of pinhole photography? Improvise, adapt, then
overcome!

Answer to me or the list.

Thank you very much!
And thank you as well.
