One other option for getting an immediate positive (and if you
interested in b&w) is Agfa Scala b&w transparency film, which does come
in 4x5. I've used it before, but only in 35 mm, and I loved it. But I
think this would be very expensive, and I think there are only a few
places in the U.S. , anyway, that actually process it. I agree with
George here...the b&w film isn't that expensive and easy enough to
develop and then scan to a positive--better yet, print as a
cyanotype--that's pretty inexpensive and quick.
