I agree completely. When I've done classes I like to make a whole bunch
of these ahead of time with all the same exact holes. The first thing
we do is load them up, shoot with them and processes them. I just find
that if I can hand out a little card with lighting conditions and
exposure recommendations plus have premade cameras with the exact same
hole sizes that it can get them all involved and not discouraged and
start making good images right away.After that I show them how to drill
and test their own pinhole cameras. When they make their own holes they
will be all over the place in hole size and they will have to do a lot
of testing to figure out how much time their cameras need.
