I don't think I'll get used to this. It's like seeing friends diasppear or reading in the necrology section of the newspaper that acquaintances passed away.

Allow me to differ on this point, George. As much as I try digital cameras, I just can't get them to provide anything satisfactory. And I'm not the only one stating that.

Not unrelated, I have a brother who collects vintage tube radios and sound systems. I can assure you that they have a quality of sound that just can't be found with current systems, however high quality. Today's sound is just "straight" digital, whereas the tubes provided the same kind of "roundness" as you find in an aged wine bottle.
