Benjamin, good morning. I saw your question and I'm sure that there is a low-tech answer
to it in the "FAQ"'s potion of this website-
"http://www.chemie.unibas.ch/~holder/SX70.html" . There is just about everything needed
to be known about SX-70/Time Zero cameras and how to modify them. I'm going to try this
on my own Polaroid 600 pinhole camera and see if it works. If not, it's back to the
drawing board. Good luck and let us know what happens. David Walters

Subject: RE: [pinhole-discussion] Polaroid OneStep conversion question
Greetings,
I have an off-topic camera making question.
I picked up a Polaroid OneStep on the cheap at a garage sale. I figured
it
would be easy to pop out the little plastic lens and replace it with a
pinhole insert and cover the light sensor. My real question has to do
with
controlling exposure. Is there a way to turn the automatic shutter
control
into one where the shutter is open when the trigger is depressed and
closes
when it's released. Or should I just plan on using it in daylight and
with
the fast film (from the 600 pack) just hope for the best?
Has anyone modified one of these before?
I look forward to your responses.
Thanks all,
Benjamin
