RE: Polaroid OneStep conversion question

Greetings,

I have an off-topic camera making question.

I picked up a Polaroid OneStep on the cheap at a garage sale. I figured it
would be easy to pop out the little plastic lens and replace it with a
pinhole insert and cover the light sensor. My real question has to do with
controlling exposure. Is there a way to turn the automatic shutter control
into one where the shutter is open when the trigger is depressed and closes
when it's released. Or should I just plan on using it in daylight and with
the fast film (from the 600 pack) just hope for the best?

Has anyone modified one of these before?

I look forward to your responses.

Thanks all,
Benjamin
