I have no experience with Polaroid in pinhole work, but the sepia or brown
toned Polaroid is terrific. In fact, I used that during a wedding of a
Western theme to give the guests and it was very successful, well received.

Steve,
It's odd, but for nice sepias from Polaroid b/w, what works is a pump
spray bottle filled with (I think these proportions are correct) 1 part selenium
toner (yes, selenium) mixed with 3 parts isopropol alcohol (drugstore alcohol
works fine if the clear kind and not green rubbing). Somewhere on Polaroid's
website, www.polaroid.com is the actual recipe. You just develop normally, spray
the solution, and watch a rapid transition from b/w to sepia. Hint: during
the toning, do over a sink, and keep spraying evenly until you get a nice tone.
You must rinse this off afterward, however, as not only is selenium also very
toix, but if you don't, you have bad staining on the back of the print. Wear
gloves, and as always, work in a well-ventilated area.
