You know, I am not participating in the actual swap, but I am very
interested in the goings on. The camera swap is beginning to smell of a
giant disaster. Why don't you do a pilot project. Each participant draws
a number and is assigned one other person to trade with and given a
month to acomplish the results and return the camera. That way some can
drop out if they wish. Some will get sick. Some people, no matter how
good their intentions, never finish anything and then the whole row of
24 cameras would be held up. If everything works perfectly, draw a
second number. Allow others to join and fade away as their circumstances
dictate. Not everyone wants to committ themselves to a year or two.
Also, I would love to trade cameras, or really photos, with someone in
Europe or elsewhere. With a small one on one trade, this is feasible and
not too expensive. You could still have the book, and it will have
Chapter One with 24 photso. Also I think you should address the question
of value of the cameras. None should be worth over X amount of dollars
or have some kind of limit of value. In such a large undertaking,
somecameras will probably be lost, eaten by the dog, or dropped. Then what?
